Richland County Government offices will reopen Thursday for regular business hours, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m

In the immediate aftermath of government offices closing earlier today, Richland County residents are reminded to take special precautions to keep their families, pets and property safe over the next several days as bitter temperatures continue affecting the Midlands

Due to inclement weather, Richland County Government offices will close at 12:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 3, with the exception of essential personnel. The announcement follows the National Weather Service issuing a winter weather advisory for the entire County, effective until 10 p.m. tonight.

As the new year unfolds, Richland County business owners are reminded to renew their business licenses and are encouraged to do so online in order to save time and receive a discount.
