Richland County Council has approved a class and compensation restructuring for regular full-time County employees.

Nine detainees at Richland County’s Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center are facing multiple charges related to a fire at the detention center Sunday night.

Richland County’s Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center (ASGDC) has been recognized with the Eagle Award by Freedom Behavioral Health Inc. (FBH) for its commitment and dedication to improving and expanding behavioral health programs and support services for detainees at the facility.

Richland County Government offices will close Friday, Nov. 10 in observance of Veterans Day.

Richland County will host a drop-in style public meeting Thursday, Nov. 9 to provide information about a proposed greenway and trail in Northeast Richland.
