In an effort to make COVID-19 shots easier to access for Richland County residents, an upcoming vaccination drive will be held in conjunction with a community expo event.

Richland County will celebrate the new home for its Hopkins Magistrate Office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, Oct. 7.

An upcoming expo will offer residents a unique opportunity to get directly involved in their community, particularly those who are interested in becoming neighborhood leaders.

The County’s Stormwater Management Division is seeking artists to illustrate “Tessa’s Tale,” the children’s story of a fish whose adventures teach a lesson about stormwater pollution.

An upcoming public input session will give Northeast Richland residents a chance to weigh in on preliminary plans to widen part of Spears Creek Church Road, from Two Notch Road to I-20.
