After answering questions about how they would transform nearby flood-prone properties, residents in the Timberlane Drive area will soon get a chance to ask questions of their own.

Motorists can expect delays along Garners Ferry Road in Southeast Richland starting next week, as work on a new connector nears completion.

Richland County Councilmembers Jesica Mackey, District 9, Cheryl English, District, 10, and Chakisse Newton, District 11, are partnering with Richland Library to distribute more than 5,000 disposable face masks within their districts.

Richland County is asking residents in the Timberlane Drive area about their preferences for transforming vacant properties impacted by the October 2015 flood.
