Richland County has scored another notable economic win, announcing the lease of a 210,600-square-foot speculative industrial building in Blythewood’s Carolina Pines Industrial Park to Charter Next Generation (CNG).

With a new school year underway, the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD) is again offering opportunities for conservation engagement to K-12 students, teachers and staff.

Richland County has finished construction of a redesigned intersection at Percival and Screaming Eagle roads in Northeast Richland. The project, which began construction in October 2022, was completed ahead of schedule and under budget. The $2.5 million completion cost comes in considerably less than the initial estimated budget of $3.1 million.

Mungo Homes, a homebuilder with communities throughout the Southeast, is expanding its corporate headquarters in Richland County. The $10 million investment will create 40 new jobs.
