Melinda Beach, Nancy Frick, and Lucia Jacobs have been named Richland County’s 2013 Conservation Teachers of the Year by the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (District). These awards, presented annually, recognize educators who exhibit an outstanding commitment to conservation education.
SC Project Learning Tree will host a Facilitator Training on Tuesday & Wednesday, April 16-17, 2013, at Camp Fellowship in Waterloo, SC. Project Learning Tree is an environmental education curriculum designed to teach students how to think, not what to think, about environmental issues.
