Victoria “Ranger Vikki” Pasco, K-5 science lab teacher at Catawba Trail Elementary School in Richland County School District Two, has been named the South Carolina 2012 Teacher of the Year by the South Carolina Association of Conservation Districts (SCACD).

Twenty six students and two classes earned awards in this year’s Richland County Arbor Day Student Contests, sponsored by the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District and the Richland County Conservation Commission.

In honor of Earth Day 2013, the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD) is offering a series of conservation-themed awards for Richland County students, teachers, administrators, and school projects.
