The Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (District) has awarded Earth Day Mini-Grants to seven Richland County Schools to support conservation and environmental education projects.

The 2013 National Community Development (CD) Week will be celebrated from April 1‐ 5, 2013.

Come Out to a Meet and Greet On Saturday, March 23, 2013

Kudos to the Richland County Government who won the 1st Municipal Award and the 2013 Top
Corporate Award at the Bark to the Park event.

Attendees will learn about irrigation scheduling, water quality and how it affects soil conditions and pesticide efficacy, agricultural water use regulations and reporting requirements, and NRCS technical and financial assistance for efficient irrigation and water management practices.
