Richland County residents are encouraged to take precautions to keep their families, pets and property safe as an early winter blast is expected to send overnight temperatures below freezing for several consecutive days this week.

Decker Boulevard was abuzz with music and dancing Saturday as community members attended the first Decker Boulevard International Block Party, which was centered around the unveiling of a large, new mural symbolizing the cultural diversity of the area.

Richland County Government offices will close Tuesday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.
