Dozens of Crane Creek area residents celebrated the grand opening of a new park and nature center – a facility that was made possible through the joint efforts of Richland County and community leaders.

The Ritedose Corp., a leading pharmaceutical products manufacturer, announced today plans to expand its operations in South Carolina and add additional capacity to the company's Richland County facility.

The first person to cross the finish line in the 10K of Richland County’s anniversary charity road race will take off with a prize befitting the location of the event – an aerial tour.

As part of a pilot program to conserve energy, Richland County replaced fluorescent fixtures at one of its largest facilities with new technology.

Richland County residents will have a third opportunity next week to offer up their insight and suggestions about what the future of Richland County should look like.
