Richland County is setting a course toward a greener future with new policies to increase energy efficiency and, in turn, reduce operations costs.

The Richland County Airport Commission and Richland County Council have welcomed Aircraft Maintenance Services (AMS) to the Jim Hamilton – LB Owens Airport (CUB).

In its first year, Richland County’s transportation sales tax brought in $53 million – $3 million more than anticipated.

The Small Local Business Enterprises (SLBE) division is gearing up for its official launch in August for prospective SLBEs. As part of the preparation, the office has been busy making sure businesses are ready to take part.
